From our favorite Hill of Montmartre we happily watched the fireworks with our guests
on the 4 terraces that more or less constitute our 'office'.

While we hope you will be with us on the next anniversary of the French Revolution around a glass of champagne (consider this a formal invitation), we send you in the meantime a little clip with this year's fireworks.

Spectacular yet subtle in color shades, they painted the Paris sky like an oriental work of art, delicate and lavish, pianissimo to forte, a symphony of softly shimmering, then brightly bursting light.
